Since the Creator of the Universe Himself, as presented in His Word, (the Bible), has no beginning, He has attributes not characteristics as some would think.
What's the difference? You would say
someone either has good or bad character based on the way they live. Right? People's character can
change.

Not so with the Creator of the Universe, who had no beginning. His qualities are attributed to Him, since He never began and always will be. Therefore His attributes have and will never change.
These attributes are clearly expressed in the Bible. Not based on some man made religion, but on His Holy Word, which is wholly reliable and trustworthy.
Here a main list of His unchanging attributes, but not exhaustive:
Now if you were to look up into a starry night at the vast expanse of the Universe, what comes to mind?
Well believe it or not, The Creator put all those stars in the vast expanse of the universe to somehow express a part of Himself to us.
But He wants us to know Him more than just some God way up there, He wants us to know Him on a personal level. The bible says in 1 John 1:3 that our fellowship is with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. So the logical thing for Him to do was to express Himself in a language that we could understand.
So He expressed Himself to us through His Word. And how do we know what His word is verses just man's word. See ( 1 Peter 1:21). He devised a plan whereby He would say certain things that only He knew would come to pass, to convince us that it was clearly Him talking and not someone else. That's of course what is commonly known as prophecy of Scripture fulfilled.
No other writings on the earth can make such a claim. Why, you may ask? Because the Creator wanted to make it very clear to us, what was coming from His mouth and not just some man made words.
If you notice, there is also another major distinction between what man says God is saying and what the Bible says, (as men were carried along by the Holy Spirit). When ever you doubt whether someone is speaking the truth or not, just search the Scripture yourself. To see if what they are saying is actually in the Bible or not. You can also ask a respected Christian for insight.
That major distinction has to do with eternal life itself. Every other religion on the face of the earth is about one's ability or inability to attain eternal life through good works or human effort.
However, the Bible is uniquely alone in stating that no amount of good deeds or human effort will grant you eternal life. See (Ephesians 2:8-9). You can't do it. The Bible says that we all fall short of the Glory of God, no one is righteous enough to deserve eternal life. See (Romans 3:23).
So, what's the point in striving to be good enough to have eternal life? That's it, there isn't any!
That's exactly where the gospel, (good news), of Jesus Christ comes in. God the Father sent His Son to die in our place. Why? Because without His sacrifice we are without hope.
Yet the Creator loves us so much, that He literally took the judgment we deserve for our sins upon Himself, that we might have eternal life.
That eternal life starts, when one accepts the fact that they are without hope in their sinful ways, (like the rest), and turns to the only one able to pay the price in full, once for all; Jesus Christ.
You see, it's a gift. Not something you attain, like all other religions proclaim, (even some that call themselves Christian, but are not based on the Bible), rather something God gives as gift out of His attribute of Mercy.
I urge you today, to look at the evidence. Stop running from the Creator. You can not hide. He made you in His image and loves you dearly. You may be a believer who has drifted away and you need to return. He will not reject a humble and contrite heart. Or you may be understanding the truth for the first time. Either way, the Creator of the Universe wants you to come home. To be with the One who loves you and gave Himself for you.
